She knows how I feel about the Borg already. She have finally learned to accept how I feel. I think I will just play it off as nothings wrong when the elders come around. This will really piss them off !

I have been fading since the middle of last year. If it wasn't for my wife being a devoted DUB, I probably would not go to the meetings. I go to around 65%-75% of the meetings. When I'm there I dont pay attention though, I'm just drawing or making "to do" lists. My preaching has declined from 15 hours a months to 2 - 4 hours a month. I never raise my hand at the meeting. I never help clean the hall. I just find it funny that it took them this long to realize that I'm not doing well spiritually. I'll let you know how it goes. Not sure when the visit will be. The elders told me it would be within the next few weeks though.
Anyway, just thought I'd share. Not sure how to tell them that I dont believe in the Borg anymore. Any suggestions?

Xbox game suggestions needed!
by DanTheMan inmy 13 year old nephew is always calling me to come over and play xbox with him.
the xbox belongs to my 17 yr old step-nephew, all three of us play together a lot of the time.. problem is, all he ever wants to play is halo.
don't get me wrong, i think halo is one of the greatest video games ever made, but i just don't think that he is mature enough to keep a game like that in perspective.

XBOX was designed for the "Mature" gamers. There aren't many games on XBOX that are appropriate for the younger audience. I would buy the GameCube. It has all the Mario Bro's and those other kid games.

Colorado will win it all.
When they acquired Kariya and Salene(sp) in the off season, i knew they where going to be the team to beat. Not they might get Kolzig from Washington...This team is set. Sorry Wings fans, this is not your year! I hate Colorado, but they have a great squad.....Hockey is a crazy sport. Anything can happen in the playoffs. Remember Anaheim last year? Who would have thought that Anaheim would have gotten to the finals? No one did. We will just have to wait and see.

A whole month of no meetings or field service!
by eyeslice ini have really struggled over the past nearly three years with my loyaties and how i view the religion i was brought up in.
however, 2004 has seen a turn around and i have not been to a meeting nor have i been out in field service for a whole month.
it is still strange and difficult though.

My situation is very similar.
I steped down from my MS position a while back. My women thinks I'm just weak right now, but I am having strong doubts. I know she is a diehard fan so she wont leave the Org. I try to support her even though I doubt the Org. I rarely go out in field service. I do make most meetings. Keep seem to shake them

Tattoos.....
by Agent Smith inmore bs from the org..... its ok for women to tattoo lipstick and other make-up crap on their face, but its not ok for anyone else to get a tattoo anywhere else on their body?
there was a sister at our cong that got her lips and her eyebrows tattood.
she announced it to eveyone in the cong, so it was no big secret.
